It is designed to work with virtually any instrument with floating bridge, such as Archtop and Macaferri guitars, and even semi-acoustic electric guitars with Tune-o-matic bridges. It is also great for banjo, cello and many ethnic or folk instruments such as bouzouki and saz, among others.
