Kevin Ryan Paradiso Grand Concert Cocobolo Glacier 25th Ann

In 2026, The Fellowship of Acoustics celebrates its 25th anniversary, and to mark this festive occasion, we commissioned Kevin Ryan to build this anniversary model of the Paradiso Grand Concert. We may be a bit biased, but what a stunning guitar it turned out to be!

The Paradiso Grand Concert stands out by combining a relatively compact size with surprisingly high volume and a mature sound. Its deep, tapered body and 25.7-inch scale length contribute to powerful projection, excellent sustain, and a tight response, even in alternative tunings. Furthermore, the model is renowned for its clear note separation and even articulation across the entire fretboard, qualities that truly shine during fingerstyle and complex playing. With its blend of modern construction techniques and a distinctly natural tonal character, the Paradiso is an exceptionally versatile Grand Concert.

This Ryan features a body made of magnificent Cocobolo, a tropical wood with fabulous looks and tonal qualities that give the Paradiso its signature character. Paired with a Glacier Sitka spruce top, it delivers a grand sound with impressive lows, a complex yet balanced midrange, and lively highs. This spruce had spent decades submerged in iron-rich salt water; during processing, oxidation revealed a distinctive grey-to-blue hue. This process has matured the wood, making it lighter in weight and structurally stiffer.

The "Acoustic Flutes" ensure superb projection, while the EO bracing with Honeycomb structure gives the guitar amazing response, dynamics, and projection. Naturally, playing comfort is paramount; this Paradiso features Ryan's signature ergonomic bevel and a Florentine cutaway. In addition to the stunning woods, the paua purfling and Cocobolo Art Deco fretboard inlay are the icing on the cake for this luxurious, visually striking instrument!

Every detail has been considered, from playing comfort to magnificent sound and breathtaking aesthetics. The guitar travels in style, accompanied by a TFOA passport, in a Smooth Glitter Gunmetal Calton case.

This instrument has been carefully inspected for condition and playability, then set up to our Gold Standard by a luthier. We make sure it arrives in your hands exactly as it should: sounding its best, playing effortlessly and ready to be enjoyed from the very first note.
