Lowden F50C Walnut Alpine Spruce

We've received another truly fantastic guitar from Lowden. The 50 Series is the pinnacle of Lowden's lineup, and this F50c absolutely reflects that!

The Lowden 50 Series is the very best Lowden has to offer, the cream of the crop! This certainly applies to this particular instrument. This custom-built F50C uses unique and spectacular Master Grade tonewoods, just as a world-class instrument should!

Now, we're not saying that a guitar that has it all can truly do it all, but this F50C delivers its beautifully balanced tone just as well for fingerstyle as it does for strumming. The Master Grade Walnut back and sides with an Alpine spruce top are a particularly clever choice by Lowden and create a stunning ensemble both visually and sonically. The cutaway brings the entire ebony fingerboard within reach, making it suitable for a wide range of playing styles.

The 'F' model is what you might call the Lowden Grand Auditorium model and is perfectly suited for fingerstyle, yet also very powerful and strong enough for rhythm playing. It's no surprise that this guitar's tone is perfectly balanced, from deep bass to crystal-clear highs. The Brazilian rosewood back and sides complement the Sitka spruce top beautifully, delivering a bright and rich character.

Naturally, it also features Lowden's tasteful styling, including ebony binding and armrest bevel, along with abalone rosette and purfling in Lowden's 38-style. A striking five-piece maple and rosewood neck, with its familiar GL Standard profile, provides a wonderfully familiar feel.
