Lowden FM35 Indian Rosewood Sitka Spruce 2018

Lowden is known for its use of the finest woods, carefully selected and crafted to the highest quality standards. This FM35 features the proven combination of Indian rosewood back and sides and a Sitka spruce top, resulting in a truly fantastic guitar!

The FM Model is a variation on one of Lowden's most popular body shapes, the F. This is what you might call the Lowden Auditorium model, with a body that's only slightly wider and deeper than an Orchestra model. It's ideal for fingerstyle playing, offering good balance, yet also very powerful and strong enough for rhythm playing. The FM model has a slightly shallower body than the regular F Model and produces a brighter sound with slightly less midrange.

Other features include the signature five-piece mahogany and rosewood neck, this time with a slightly narrower GL Narrow neck profile for a playing experience more reminiscent of an electric guitar. Furthermore, we find an abalone rosette, flamed maple bindings, an ebony fingerboard bound with ebony and maple, a rosewood bridge, and gold-colored Gotoh tuners with ebony buttons on this fantastic Lowden.

This Lowden was built in 2018 and is in excellent condition. The top and back of the body have some shiny spots in the matte finish from playing, and the back of the neck has also become glossy. There are minor scratches on the pickguard, and a few very minor dings are noticeable on the body bindings. Otherwise, the guitar is very clean and comes with a TFOA passport in a Hiscox hardshell case.
