Lowden S22J Jazz Nylon Mahogany Alpine Spruce

Lowden guitars are always a feast for the eyes, and every now and then they release a striking model with a little something extra. Only three of this version of the S22J were ever made!

George Lowden and his team have earned their place with their magnificent-sounding guitars. The tone is often compared to the clarity and purity of a fine piano. The S22J Jazz series is also considered the ultimate in-between nylon guitar for flattop and electric guitar players. This guitar is factory-fitted with an LR Baggs VTC.

The S model is unbeatable thanks to its unsurpassed craftsmanship, the use of only the most exclusive and finest tonewoods, and a unique concept that makes it ideal for all types of players. As part of the Original series, the guitar boasts beautifully understated aesthetic features: a five-piece wooden rosette, binding around the back and top of the body, three-piece purfling on the top, a rosewood headstock overlay, and an ebony fingerboard.

The guitar plays wonderfully smoothly, and the upper frets are easily accessible thanks to the cutaway. Excellent balance, unique tone separation, impressive clarity, and dynamics are guaranteed. Like every Lowden, this S22J crossover is meticulously finished down to the last detail, with beautiful woodwork and stunning gold-colored Gotoh tuners.

The guitar comes with a TFOA passport and comes in a Hiscox hardshell case.
