Manouche Moreno Crossover Gypsy Jazz Nylon 2005

Using the original Selmer blueprints, more than 30 years of listening to and playing classic Selmer guitars, and first-class craftsmanship, Manouche has faithfully recreated not only the sound and appearance of these famous gypsy jazz guitars, but also their unique feel.

This D-hole gypsy jazz guitar features the name "Moreno" on the headstock. It has laminated rosewood back and sides and a solid spruce top with fan bracing. Instead of steel strings, this guitar is fitted with nylon strings, giving it a noticeably deeper and warmer tone than the bright, cutting sound of a steel-string gypsy jazz guitar. It is equally powerful in projection, while the zero fret ensures that every note rings out with exceptional clarity.

It is a wonderful addition for gypsy jazz players looking to expand their tonal palette, while also serving as an excellent instrument for classical music and a wide range of other acoustic genres.

This 2005 Manouche is in excellent condition and remains remarkably clean for its age. It shows only light signs of playwear across the body, neck, and pickguard. The only more noticeable cosmetic issue is a finish imperfection underneath the neck at the cutaway. It comes complete with its case and TFOA Passport.
