The Martin 000-28EC is Eric Clapton's signature model and one of the most beloved acoustics Martin has ever produced. Inspired by the cherished prewar Martins from Clapton's own collection, this 2019 example brings together classic 000 proportions, premium tonewoods and the elegant appointments that make the model so special.

The 000-28EC was designed together with Eric Clapton to recreate the feel and voice of the vintage Martins he treasured. It pairs a Sitka spruce top with solid Indian rosewood back and sides, scalloped X bracing and a comfortable 000 body, giving a sound that is rich, balanced and wonderfully articulate, equally at home for delicate fingerstyle and gentle strumming. The short 24.9" scale and Modified V mahogany neck make it a joy to play, while the ebony fingerboard with its Diamonds and Squares inlays, herringbone purfling and rosette, ivoroid binding and tortoise pickguard give it that unmistakable vintage Martin elegance.

This particular guitar has been fitted with an LR Baggs Trio Air pickup system, so it is ready to plug in and perform with a natural, detailed amplified tone, whether on stage or in the studio.

It is in very good condition. There is a neatly repaired center seam crack on the top behind the bridge, and otherwise it presents beautifully throughout. It comes with a hardshell case.
