The Martin D45 is considered by many to be the holy grail of acoustic guitars. This 12-string D45 from the Custom Shop takes exclusivity to the next level in its Modern Deluxe version!

The D45 Modern Deluxe is a fresh take on the Martin Vintage. This guitar is packed with custom features and modern technology that you have to see, feel, and hear for yourself! As befits the Martin Custom Shop, this D45 is also equipped with the best available materials. For instance, it features a beautiful fine-grained spruce top with stunning East Indian rosewood back and sides. Naturally, both the body and neck are richly adorned with abalone purflings, as you would expect from Martin's top model.

The appearance is unlike anything else in Martin's product line, featuring European flamed maple binding, gold tuning machines, and an elegant abalone torch inlay on the headstock. The guitar also features gold-colored Liquid Metal bridge pins, but differs from the regular Modern Deluxe in two respects. For instance, the guitar features a maple bridge plate instead of carbon, and the frets are standard instead of gold. This guitar is anything but standard!

The sound of this D45 has an astonishing spectrum of dynamics thanks to the wood types, with full lows, smooth midtones, and brilliant highs, blended with the focused and warmer response of spruce that lets through just the right amount of overtones. This 12-string variant adds an almost inconceivable dimension to this through its extra strings.
