Martin OM21 Rosewood Spruce 2020

The Martin OM21 brings together two of the things Martin does best: the beautifully balanced Orchestra Model body and the classic warmth of a rosewood and spruce pairing. It is a guitar built for players who want fingerstyle clarity and strumming richness in one refined, no-nonsense package.

Part of Martin's Standard Series, the OM21 features a solid sitka spruce top over solid Indian rosewood back and sides, braced with scalloped X-bracing for a lively, responsive voice. An aging toner gloss finish gives the top a subtly vintage look, complemented by tortoise binding and pickguard, multi-line purfling and rosette.

And it does sound beautiful. The rosewood and spruce combination gives that classic Martin voice: deep, rich lows, sparkling highs and plenty of overtone complexity, all wrapped in the focused, articulate character of the OM.

This 2020 OM21 is in excellent condition. It has picked up some honest playwear, mainly on the body, in the form of scratches and dings, along with a few small dings on the top. The originally satin neck has also begun to take on a light sheen from playing, which is entirely normal over time. It comes supplied in a hardshell case with a TFOA Passport.

This guitar has been carefully inspected for condition and playability, then set up to our Gold Standard by a luthier. We make sure it arrives in your hands exactly as it should: sounding its best, playing effortlessly and ready to be enjoyed from the very first note.
