Tim Marcus designs amplifiers based on his own experience and needs, and when it came time to design the Creamer, he wanted to balance a perfectly tuned guitar tone with a decent amount of power and portability.

The Creamer was designed with versatility in mind, featuring an adjustable cathode bias circuit that allows you to swap between 6L6 and 6V6 power tubes without the need for rebiasing. A rear-panel switch keeps the speaker output at 8 ohms regardless of tube type, and inside the chassis, there’s an internal bias adjustment should you want to fine-tune it further.

With 6V6 tubes, the Creamer delivers around 20 watts into 8 ohms, resulting in a smooth, early breakup. Drop in a pair of 6L6s, flip the rear switch, and you’ll get tighter lows, slightly scooped mids, and more headroom. The tremolo circuit is a standout feature—rich, deep, and harmonically complex, with a wide and usable speed range.

The 12" Fane A60 speaker offers a clear and lively tone with impressive efficiency. It delivers tight low end even at lower volumes.
