The JP6 is the result of the successful collaboration between Ernie Ball Music Man and Dream Theater guitarist John Petrucci. This 2001 JP6 takes you all the way back to the beginning, as this guitar comes from the first year of production of this model!

The guitar combines playing comfort with great tone shaping. The basswood body and maple neck with its streamlined C-profile make for a pleasantly lightweight instrument that plays comfortably for hours. The set of DiMarzio pickups was specially developed in collaboration with Petrucci. They deliver both a crystal-clear clean sound and a powerful high-gain tone that is perfect for modern rock and prog; this guitar can shred!
