The StingRay is one of the most iconic and instantly recognisable basses ever made, and this short-scale version keeps everything that makes it special while shrinking the scale to a friendly 30". The shorter spacing between the frets makes for effortless playability and a punchy, focused low end, without losing any of that signature Music Man authority.

At the heart of the bass sits a Music Man neodymium StingRay humbucker: a passive pickup with higher-output neodymium magnets, specially voiced for the short scale to deliver that famously warm, full tone. A three-way rotary switch offers parallel, true single-coil and series modes, giving you a genuinely broad palette of sounds from a simple, elegant control layout. The roasted maple neck and fingerboard add stability and a lively snap, topped with 22 high-profile stainless steel frets for a smooth, durable feel, while the vintage-style top-loaded bridge and lightweight Music Man tuners keep everything balanced and rock-solid in tune.
