Novo Serus J Custom Candy Apple Red 2025

This 2025 Novo Serus J Custom in Candy Apple Red is a striking offset with plenty of attitude. A light distressed finish, a gold plexi pickguard and a pair of Fralin P90s give it a bold look and a raw, characterful sound, while the NV vibrato with its lightning bolt arm adds a touch of shimmer whenever you want it.

Novo Guitars is the Nashville based workshop of Dennis Fano, a builder known for guitars that feel familiar and vintage, yet have a personality all their own. The Serus J is one of Novo's own offset designs, and this Custom version was built to a detailed spec sheet that documents every choice that went into it.

The tempered pine body is light and resonant, giving the guitar an open, woody voice with plenty of snap, while the tempered maple neck and East Indian rosewood fingerboard keep the notes clear and warm. The Fralin P90s deliver a fat, punchy tone with a growling midrange that cleans up beautifully when you roll back the volume and bites hard when you dig in.

This 2025 Serus J is in near mint condition. Apart from its aged finish, it shows only minimal signs of play, mainly some light scratches on the pickguard. It comes with a Novo deluxe padded soft case.

This guitar has been carefully inspected for condition and playability, then set up to our Gold Standard by a luthier. We make sure it arrives in your hands exactly as it should: sounding its best, playing effortlessly and ready to be enjoyed from the very first note.
