The 2003 PRS SC245 introduced PRS for players seeking a warmer, vintage-inspired tone! This Maple Leaf Natural finish showcases the beautiful flamed maple top and mahogany body in all their glory, while the 58/15 pickups provide a rich tonal palette!

Paul Reed Smith developed the SC245 in response to guitarists who wanted the signature PRS quality but with the warmer tonal characteristics of a shorter scale length. While standard PRS models have a 25" scale, the SC245 returns to the classic 24.5" scale length known from vintage single-cut guitars. This results in slightly lower string tension, contributing to a fuller, warmer tone with more sustain in the midrange.

The combination of a mahogany body with a flamed maple top is a timeless recipe that PRS has perfected. This 2003 SC245 is equipped with the acclaimed 58/15 pickups, specially developed by PRS to capture warm, vintage PAF tones with modern clarity and definition.

This 2003 PRS is in excellent condition and looks very clean. It has some playwear mainly on the body, including a few dings on the sides and back. It comes in a case with TFOA passport.
