Sadowsky MasterBuilt 21 Fret M/J Bass Limited Edition 5 String Snakewood 2022

The Sadowsky MasterBuilt Series represents the very best Sadowsky has to offer. The use of premium tonewoods, a lightweight body, renowned active Sadowsky electronics, and Custom Shop craftsmanship results in some of the finest basses available today.

According to Roger Sadowsky, MasterBuilt instruments come as close as possible to the instruments he builds himself in his New York City workshop. This is because he was personally involved in the entire development process for every design—from selecting tonewood combinations to determining finishes and premium features. For instance, this 5-string bass features a swamp ash body with a snakewood top, paired with a roasted flamed maple neck and a snakewood fretboard.

Custom-made Sadowsky pickups and a preamp combine to deliver a versatile, modern tonal palette capable of handling anything. It features a J-style pickup in the neck position and an MM-style humbucker at the bridge—truly the perfect blend of clarity and power. The Sadowsky 2-band boost-only preamp has become iconic and legendary in its own right; its tonal qualities sit perfectly in the mix, regardless of how the other controls are set.

This 2022 Sadowsky bass shows only minimal signs of play and is virtually indistinguishable from a new instrument. A true beauty capable of outstanding performance!
