Sandberg California ST-S Sunburst 2012

We are, of course, very familiar with Sandberg bass guitars, but certainly do not underestimate the brand's guitars! Built to the same high quality standards as the basses, this 2012 ST-S is an excellent choice for the player who still prefers to have six strings at their disposal.

Sandberg has equipped this guitar with a smart and versatile circuitry; the three single coils offer all the familiar sounds that this type of guitar has been producing since 1954, but it goes a step further with its push/pull potentiometer. This knob activates an extra circuit for the bridge pickup, giving it a fatter and more humbucker-like sound.

Furthermore, the guitar features an ash body, a maple neck, and high-quality hardware. The tremolo is made by Sandberg themselves, and the tuning machines are Gotoh Magnum locking. The guitar dates from 2012 and has some light signs of wear and dents all over the body. The back of the neck has become partially shiny from playing, and there are some small scratches on the headstock.

Overall, the guitar looks very clean and is a reliable instrument for the guitarist who wants only one thing: to just play!
