Shabat Lion STP Tobacco Burst 2025

The Shabat Lion STP is a hand-built electric guitar that blends the simplicity of a classic single-pickup design with modern build quality and refined detailing.

This 2025 model features a mahogany body with a comfortable belly cut and a 24.75-inch scale length. At the heart of the guitar lies a Lollar Dogear P90 pickup in the bridge position, delivering a direct, dynamic tone with a pronounced midrange. The volume and tone controls allow for easy adjustment, ranging from bright, open sounds to powerful, character-rich overdrive.

The 22-fret mahogany neck has a comfortable Medium C profile and features a fretboard with a compound radius, transitioning from 9.5 to 12 inches. A Graph Tech ResoMax wraparound bridge contributes to a responsive feel, while the aged-nickel hardware and tuners enhance the instrument’s classic aesthetic. The Tobacco Burst nitrocellulose finish—complemented by light aging, a black headstock face, and a Bakelite pickguard—gives this model an understated, sophisticated character. With its straightforward controls and expressive P-90 tone, the Lion STP is a versatile instrument that captures the true essence of a traditional single-cut guitar.

Shabat Guitars was founded in 2012 by Israeli luthier Avi Shabat, who launched his own brand in Los Angeles following formal training in guitar building and years of experience in the repair, restoration, and crafting of handmade instruments. The family-run company specializes in hand-built electric guitars and basses that combine classic designs with modern reliability and playability.

This Shabat Lion STP shows only light signs of play, and also has two small dings on the bass side of the neck near the third fret. Otherwise, the guitar is indistinguishable from new.

This guitar has been carefully inspected for condition and playability, then set up to our Gold Standard by a luthier. We make sure it arrives in your hands exactly as it should: sounding its best, playing effortlessly and ready to be enjoyed from the very first note.
