Suhr Custom Modern T Figured Koa

This Suhr Modern T perfectly showcases the precision craftsmanship and refined design that have made Suhr one of the most respected names in modern electric guitars. Combining striking aesthetics with exceptional playability and tonal versatility, this instrument is built to inspire both on stage and in the studio.

The guitar features a mahogany body paired with a beautifully figured koa top that we personally handpicked during a visit to the Suhr factory. The body is finished in a tasteful Trans Brown finish that complements the warmth of the mahogany perfectly. The result is a lightweight yet resonant instrument with a rich and balanced tonal foundation.

The Roasted Flamed Maple neck is carved to Suhr’s comfortable Modern Elliptical profile measuring .800" to .850", and is paired with an Indian Rosewood fingerboard featuring a compound 11" to 16" radius. Together with the 24 jumbo stainless steel frets, this design offers a smooth playing experience with effortless bending and long lasting durability.

Equipped with a pair of Thornbucker humbuckers and a versatile 5 way switch, this Modern T delivers a wide palette of tones ranging from smooth and articulate to powerful and aggressive. Tuning stability and expressive control are ensured by the Suhr 2 point tremolo and locking tuners, making this guitar a reliable companion for demanding players.
