Taylor 314e 2017

The Grand Auditorium model is one of Taylor's most popular models due to its versatility. This popular model has been an indispensable part of Taylor's lineup since its introduction in 1994, partly due to the strong sound this body shape produces.

Thanks to the Sitka spruce top and sapele back and sides, you can expect a balanced and articulated mix of top clarity, midrange fullness, and low-end warmth that accommodates a wide range of playing styles.

A black pickguard, along with black binding and a multi-line rosette, provides the decoration, while other aesthetic details include chrome tuning machines and mother-of-pearl fingerboard inlays. As we have come to expect from Taylor, the fingerboard and bridge are made of ebony, a material that not only provides a luxurious appearance but also ensures good sound transmission due to its hardness.

This Taylor was built in 2017 and shows signs of wear on the top and body. The lacquer on the back of the neck has become shiny from playing, and there are some dings to be found on the headstock. However, the guitar looks very neat with a beautiful glossy finish, especially considering its age. Additionally, this 314e is equipped with Taylor's Expression System 2, which allows the guitar to sound its best when amplified.
