The Theo Scharpach Flamenco1912 is an exceptional flamenco guitar in which traditional Spanish craftsmanship and artistic inspiration come together. The Flamenco1912 is Scharpach's interpretation of the traditional flamenco guitar, built according to the construction principles of the legendary Spanish builder Santos Hernández and featuring subtle design elements inspired by Pablo Picasso's famous guitar sculpture from 1912.

Theo Scharpach has been hand-building exclusive guitars from his studio in the Netherlands for over forty years and enjoys international renown among both professional musicians and collectors. His instruments are played by guitarists such as Al Di Meola, Steve Howe, and Vicente Santiago and are known for their rich dynamics, refined finish, and exceptional response.

This 2021 Flamenco1912 is crafted as a traditional flamenco blanca with a solid spruce top and a cypress back, a combination beloved for its direct attack, dry projection, and lively, percussive character. The instrument responds effortlessly to every nuance of the player and delivers a warm, balanced sound with an impressive color palette, ranging from powerful rasgueados to expressive melodic lines.

On the top, back, and sides, we find light signs of wear and a few small dings, the most noticeable of which is a superficial scratch near the lower golpeador. Additionally, there are some small spots on the front and back of the headstock. However, the guitar looks exceptionally clean and is a unique collector's item for the enthusiast!
