Vigier Excalibur Special HSH Quilted Maple Wine Red 2008

This Vigier Excalibur Special is packed with clever design details and is built entirely for performance!

The Excalibur features several innovations that set it apart from other guitars and make it exceptionally performance-oriented. Examples include an extremely stable tremolo system, a zero fret, stainless steel frets, and a Teflon nut with a damper to eliminate unwanted noise. The D-profile maple neck is incredibly stable thanks to a carbon fiber rod that is impervious to humidity and temperature fluctuations; consequently, the neck does not require a truss rod.

The alder body features a quilted maple top with a glossy Wine Red finish. With its DiMarzio HSH pickup configuration, this is a dream guitar for hard rock and metal fans. It is an impressive instrument that demonstrates just how much an innovative approach to guitar building has to offer players.

Since its inception, Vigier has continuously sought and developed technological solutions to the challenges musicians face. However, technology is not an end in itself; their goal is to eliminate issues and allow musicians to focus entirely on making music. All guitars and basses are designed and manufactured at the company's facility near Paris, France.

This 2008 Vigier Excalibur is in excellent condition. There are a few dings on the top and body, including a somewhat larger one on the upper horn on the back of the body. Otherwise, the guitar shows signs of light use but is in good condition; it comes with a TFOA passport and a Hiscox case with some detached interior lining.

This guitar has been carefully inspected for condition and playability, then set up to our Gold Standard by a luthier. We make sure it arrives in your hands exactly as it should: sounding its best, playing effortlessly and ready to be enjoyed from the very first note.
