Washburn D48 Comanche 1996

In 1996, Washburn made a USA-built Native Series. The D48 Comanche is the dreadnought model of that series. A light guitar with a beautiful Sitka top and rosewood back and sides.

The Native theme gives this guitar a unique look. The dreamcatcher in the headstock and the uniquely shaped rosewood bridge and three-coloured blocked purfling truly stand out.

This oldie has some clear wear and tear. The first 7 frets show playwear, and underneath the bridge is a crack which is reinforced by a bridge doctor. On the sides and back, there are noticeable lacquer chips.

The guitar has a K&K Pure Mini pickup installed.
