Bill Meeker en David Haines begonnen American Showster in 1986 vanuit New Jersey door custom gitaren te bouwen die hun inspiratie halen uit de wereld van hot rod motoren en klassieke auto's. Het bedrijf produceerde tot 2004 op maat gemaakte instrumenten in de VS.
Deze 'The Biker' gitaar is gebouwd in de jaren '90 met de motorliefhebber in gedachten. Het ontwerp en het vakmanschap van deze gitaar zijn gevormd naar de benzinetank van de vroege choppers. Hij heeft zelfs een metalen gasdop aan de baskant! Hij wordt gevoed door drie single coils pickups en samen met de volume- en toonregeling kan de 5-standenschakelaar worden gebruikt om tussen de pickups te schakelen.
De body heeft wat lichte speelsporen, maar is voor zijn leeftijd echt schoon. Hij is dan ook in excellente conditie en is een echte unieke en stoere toevoeging aan je verzameling! Wordt geleverd in een gigbag.
