Drew Lowry Carrick Model 2021
Andrew Lowry, oorspronkelijk afkomstig uit Noord-Ierland, bouwt sinds 2014 professioneel custom gitaren in het noorden van Frankrijk. Hij bouwt in een eigentijdse stijl, gericht op eenvoud en elegantie van vorm, en een klank die rijk is aan sustain en harmonischen, beïnvloed door de Ierse traditie van gitaar maken.
Hij biedt momenteel twee modellen aan (Braid en Carrick), genoemd naar prominente bezienswaardigheden in zijn geboortestreek Antrim, Noord-Ierland. Dit is het Carrick model en heeft een sparren bovenblad en Indisch palissander zij- en achterkant.
De Carrick is een middelgroot model en is qua afmetingen ongeveer gelijk aan een OM. Het is in de eerste plaats bedoeld als een fingerstyle-instrument, met een vol geluid, rijk aan harmonischen en sustain.
Deze Carrick uit 2021 verkeert nog in bijna nieuwstaat en wordt geleverd in een koffer.
