Martin D28 Brazilian Rosewood Spruce 1967
Door de jaren heen zijn er weinig akoestische gitaren zo iconisch en inspirerend geweest als de Martin D28. Dit prachtig klinkende exemplaar uit 1967 is daar een perfect voorbeeld van, en laat met zijn prachtige Braziliaans palissander klankkast en fijn generfde sparren bovenblad niets aan de verbeelding over.
Bij het aanslaan van de eerste akkoorden laat hij meteen zijn krachtige bas en projectie horen. De hals heeft een iets ronder 'V'-profiel en ligt fijn in de hand. Ook heeft hij een esdoorn brugplaat, de originele Grover Rotomatic stemmechanieken en 'non-scalloped' bracing.
Hij ziet er nog opvallend schoon uit voor zijn leeftijd. De klankkast en het bovenblad hebben de te verwachten speelsporen en dings, terwijl de hals een paar kleine lakchipjes heeft. Naast een kleine hairline bij de slagplaat heeft hij verder geen cracks of andere beschadigingen. Met gezonde frets en genoeg zadel is de speelbaarheid ook nog uitstekend in orde en is de conditie van deze D28 excellent.
Inclusief een koffer met TFOA paspoort.

Over the years, few acoustic guitars have been as iconic and inspiring as the Martin D28. This beautiful sounding 1967 example is a perfect example of that, leaving nothing to the imagination with its stunning Brazilian rosewood back and sides and finely grained spruce top.
When striking the first chords, it immediately shows its powerful bass and projection. The neck has a slightly rounder 'V' profile and fits nicely in the hand. It also has a maple bridge plate, the original Grover Rotomatic tuners and non-scalloped bracing.
It still looks remarkably clean for its age and it is in excellent condition. The body and top have the expected playwear and dings, while the neck has a few small lacquer chips. Besides a small hairline at the pickguard, it has no cracks. With healthy frets and enough saddle, the playability is also great.
