Gibson Custom Noel Gallagher 1960 ES355 Sixties Cherry Limited Run
Noel Gallagher's verbondenheid met ES-stijl gitaren gaat terug tot het begin van Oasis, waarvan het hoogtepunt in 1997 was toen hij een Gibson ES355 uit 1960 kocht. Destijds werd hij beschouwd als "too fancy" om op te spelen, en was hij aanvankelijk bedoeld om een verzamelstuk te blijven totdat hij in het begin van de jaren '00 uiteindelijk op het podium belandde, waar hij sindsdien favoriet is gebleven.
Nu, 20 jaar later, kondigt Gibson Custom met trots de Noel Gallagher 1960 ES355 aan. Verouderd door de Murphy Lab en beperkt tot slechts 200 stuks wereldwijd, bevat deze replica alle kenmerken die de Gibson ES355 tot het toppunt van gitaarvakmanschap maken, inclusief een meerlaags gebonden esdoorn body, een mahonie hals en ebben toets, een Varitone schakelaar, en een Bigsby B7 vibrato staartstuk.
Een gereproduceerd handgeschreven lyric sheet, een met de hand ondertekend certificaat van echtheid en een custom Bear Strap, precies zoals die van Noel, zijn inbegrepen in de bruine/roze koffer.
Noel Gallagher's affiliation with ES-style guitars stretches back to the beginning of Oasis, the peak of which was in 1997 when he purchased a 1960 Gibson ES355. Deemed at the time "too nice" to play, this was initially intended to remain a collector's piece until finally making it to the stage in the early '00s where it has remained a constant ever since.
Now, 20 years later, Gibson Custom is proud to announce the Noel Gallagher 1960 ES355. Aged by the Murphy Lab and limited to just 200 units globally, this replication will include all the appointments which make the Gibson ES355 the pinnacle of guitar craftsmanship, including a multi-ply bound maple body, a mahogany neck and ebony fretboard, a Varitone switch, and a Bigsby B7 vibrato tailpiece.
