De Gibson ES175, bekend als het werkpaard van de jazzgitaar, is een iconische hollowbody elektrische gitaar, geliefd bij vele legendarische gitaristen in de wereld van jazz, blues, rock en fusion.
Hoewel de ES175 wordt geassocieerd met jazzgrootheden als Jim Hall, Pat Metheny en Joe Pass, heeft zijn veelzijdige klank en vermogen om distortion aan te kunnen hem tot een favoriet gemaakt van fusion- en rockgitaristen zoals Steve Howe (Yes) en Buck Dharma die een ES175 bespeelde op de klassieker Don't Fear the Reaper van Blue Oyster Cult.
Deze ES175 uit 1956 heeft een Sunburst afwerking die de gitaar zijn klassieke en herkenbare uitstraling geeft. De gitaar is voorzien van twee P90 pickups die de gitaar de veelzijdigheid geven om te excelleren in diverse muziekstijlen, al leent een gitaar als deze zich natuurlijk bij uitstek voor jazzmuziek.
Hij verkeert voor zijn leeftijd nog in zeer goede conditie. Naast de speelsporen en craquelé heeft hij een nette reparatie rond de jack input gehad. Er is ook een tweede toggle switch geïnstalleerd, wat lijkt op een originele custom order, maar die is op dit moment niet aangesloten met de rest van de elektronica.
Inclusief een koffer met TFOA paspoort.

This 1956 ES175 has a sunburst finish that gives the guitar its classic and recognizable look. The guitar features two P90 pickups that give the guitar the versatility to excel in various music styles.
It is in very good condition for its age. Besides the weather checking and playwear, it has one repair around the input jack which has been done very neatly. A second toggle switch has been installed on the top, which seems to be an original custom order, but is currently not connected to the rest of the wiring.
Includes a hardshell case with TFOA passport.
