BSG-gitaren worden gebouwd door Jan ŠťovÃÄek in Tsjechië en worden over de hele wereld steeds meer gewaardeerd om hun zeer hoge bouwkwaliteit die in de buurt komt van merken als McIlroy en Lowden, maar ook een vleugje Amerikaans karakter heeft.
In de naam van dit specifieke model verwijst '27' naar de achter- en zijkanten van Indisch palissander, terwijl de 'F' staat voor 'full solid'. Dit betekent dat deze OM een klassieke klankhoutcombinatie heeft van massief Indisch palissander met massief Sitka-sparrenhout. Het resulteert ook in een gebalanceerde en heldere toon die zich even goed leent voor fingerstyle en lichte slag.
Door een langere mensuur van 650 mm te combineren met een kleinere body, is dit OM-model een zeer responsief en gemakkelijk te bespelen instrument. De herringbone-purfling en rozet, curly anegre binding en snowflake-toetsinleg voegen wat visuele flair toe aan dit klassieke ontwerp.
