Gibson Pre-War SJ200 Rosewood Vintage Sunburst

De SJ200 is een van de meest iconische akoestische gitaren uit de geschiedenis. Met deze Pre-War grijpt Gibson terug naar de start van het tijdperk van de Super Jumbo, toen de klankkast van de gitaar werd vervaardigd uit palissander. Ondanks het feit dat de gitaar later aan populariteit won met een klankkast van esdoorn zijn de originele modellen nooit vergeten en nog steeds een gewild object voor verzamelaars.

Met een thermisch verouderde top van het hout van de rode spar komt de diepe, volle klank van dit veelzijdige instrument prachtig tot zijn recht. Door de aanzienlijke omvang van de klankkast is de gitaar in staat om op een gebalanceerde wijze een groot volume te produceren; dit is een gitaar die zeker gehoord wil worden. 

Andere iconische elementen zijn uiteraard ook aanwezig; de 'moustache'-brug en de prachtige ingelegde slagplaat die de SJ200 al zo lang kenmerken. Met de afwerking van dunne nitrocellulose heeft het instrument ook het vintage gevoel dat zo treffend is voor dit prachtige eerbetoon aan de 'King of Flat-tops'. De gitaar wordt geleverd in een koffer.
