Crazy Tube Circuits Falcon Overdrive
Een beetje backstage-info: In 2016 heeft Crazy Tube Circuits een custom versterker gebouwd die ontworpen is om te schakelen tussen de geluiden van een 5E3 Tweed Deluxe en een 6G2 Brownface Princeton. Ze vonden het geluid en gevoel van de versterker zo leuk dat ze besloten om hem in pedaalformaat vast te leggen. De Falcon is ontworpen als een nauwgezette nabootsing van de circuits in deze versterkers. Met elk detail in gedachten hebben ze het gedrag, het geluid en het gevoel van de voorversterker, fase-omvormer en eindversterker van beide ontwerpen gekopieerd. Door JFET-technologie toe te passen, zijn ze erin geslaagd om niet alleen de overstuurde geluiden na te bootsen, maar ook de lagere gain / clean-geluiden. Dit effect versterkt het dynamische, muzikale gevoel van het pedaal en zorgt ervoor dat het zeer snel reageert op uw aanslag. Afhankelijk van de instelling van de versterkermodus en de output van je gitaar / element, kan dit effect meer of minder uitgesproken zijn.

They liked the sound and feel of the amp so much that they decided to capture it in pedal format. The Falcon is designed to closely replicate the circuits in these amplifiers. With every detail in mind, they copied the behavior, sound and feel of the preamp, phase inverter and power amplifier from both designs. By applying JFET technology, they have managed to mimic not only the overdriven sounds, but also the lower gain / clean sounds. This effect enhances the dynamic, musical feel of the pedal and makes it respond very quickly to your touch. Depending on the amp mode setting and the output of your guitar / pickup, this effect can be more or less pronounced.
