Deering Vega Vintage Star 5-String Banjo
Aan de basis van de Vintage Star ligt een prachtige Dobson-toonring. Oorspronkelijk gepatenteerd door Henry Dobson in 1881, balanceert de Dobson de lage tonen met heldere hoge tonen, en voegt precies de juiste hoeveelheid sustain toe aan de banjo. De koperen Dobson ligt achter de Renaissance 'head', die zelf op een dunnere 12-inch 'violin grade' esdoorn rim zit. Een 'knotless' staartstuk maakt de set-up helemaal af om een klassieke vintage toon te produceren.
De Vintage Star heeft een duurzame, onderhoudsarme frosty bronzen poederfinish, die de exotische smokey-strepen accentueert die door het ebbenhout van de toets lopen. De afwerking is ook hypoallergeen, wat samen met de bijpassende esdoorn armleuning zorgt voor een echt comfortabele speelervaring.
