Eastman E16SS-TC LTD Quartersawn Maple
De Eastman E16SS is andermaal een prachtige Slope Shoulder, en niet in de minste plaats door de gelimiteerde oplage van slechts 200 stuks wereldwijd. De E16SS nestelt zich tussen de E6SS, E10SS en E20SS, en is zo een prachtige aanvulling op het assortiment van Eastman. De heldere en gearticuleerde sound zal menigeen verbazen!
De E16SS is voorzien van specificaties die niet zouden misstaan op gitaren die vele malen duurder zijn. Zo beschikt de gitaar over een Adirondack sparren bovenblad dat de Thermo Cured-methode heeft gekregen. Dit houdt in dat het hout is blootgesteld aan hitte en druk voor het bouwen, waar het in dit proces een groot deel van zijn vocht al verliest. Het resultaat is een gitaar met een ingespeeld karakter en de gewilde klankkwaliteiten van een vintage instrument.
Het instrument beschikt verder over een klankkast uit prachtig esdoorn dat is voorzien van een tortoise binding en herringbone purfling. Dit laatste element is samen met de slagplaat en inleg op de toets afgeleid van de duurdere E20SS, en geeft de gitaar een prachtige uitstraling. De gitaar wordt met echtheidscertificaat geleverd in een koffer.

This last element, together with the pickguard and fingerboard inlay, is derived from the more expensive E20SS, and gives the guitar a beautiful appearance.
