Eastman E40D TC Thermo Cured

De dreadnought heeft een massief palissander klankkast en een Adirondack sparren bovenblad en dat maakt hem de ultieme flat-picking bluegrass gitaar.
Eastman voorziet het bovenblad van hun 'Thermo Cured' behandeling. Dit zorgt ervoor dat het hout is blootgesteld aan hitte en druk, waardoor het een groot deel van zijn vocht al verloren heeft aan dit proces. Het resultaat is een gitaar met een ingespeeld karakter, met de klank-kwaliteiten een ouder vintage instrument.
