De gitaren uit de Custom Shop van Fender zijn op zichzelf al absolute meesterwerken, maar de Masterbuilt-gitaren doen hier nog een schepje bovenop! Deze gitaren worden van begin tot eind gebouwd door één Masterbuilder waardoor de onderdelen tot in de kleinste details op elkaar afgestemd kunnen worden. Zo is deze Stratocaster gebouwd door Greg Fessler, een zeer gerespecteerd bouwer die al sinds 1990 aan de Fender Custom Shop verbonden is.
Fessler bouwde in zijn lange loopbaan unieke instrumenten voor grootheden als Joe Bonamassa, Jeff Healey en John Mayer, en zijn ervaring uit zich in elk detail van deze schitterende Stratocaster. De Ice Blue Metallic-finish is vakkundige wijze verouderd en geeft de gitaar een schitterende doorleefde look, waarbij ook de Olympic White Racing Stripe op visueel gebied zijn steentje bijdraagt. De kwartiers gezaagde esdoorn hals heeft een Large C-profiel en laat zich door de stevige grip eenvoudig bespelen.
Op tonaal gebied zorgen de door Master Pickup Winder Josefina Campos handgewonden pickups voor alle kenmerkende klanken die je wilt horen in een Stratocaster. Campos werkte jarenlang aan de zijde van de legendarische Abigail Ybarra, die op haar beurt het vak leerde van Leo Fender zelf. Dit betekent dat niet één, maar twee van Fender's Masters verantwoordelijk zijn voor deze geweldige Stratocaster!
De gitaar wordt met echtheidscertificaat geleverd in een Fender-koffer.
