De Friedman Runt 20 combo biedt Friedman's legendarische klank en veelzijdigheid in een compacte 2-kanaals versterker. De Runt wordt aangedreven door twee EL84-buizen, met drie 12AX7's in de voorversterker.
De voornaamste functie van de Runt is het overdrive-kanaal, met de legendarische Friedman-overdrive die varieert van vintage rockcrunch tot moderne high-gaintonen. De Boost-schakelaar en Gain-knop kunnen gebruikt worden om de perfecte hoeveelheid overdrive in te stellen.Â
Het eenvoudige cleane kanaal heeft een volumeknop en heldere schakelaar met 3 standen die alles levert, van heldere cleans tot een licht gebroken blues/country toon. Het hart van de Runt-combo is een 16-ohm, 12-inch Celestion G12M 65 Creamback-luidspreker die de bas, de middenrespons en het kenmerkende geluid levert dat je van een Friedman-versterker mag verwachten.
