Godin Guitars heeft het nieuwste model in hun innovatieve Multiac-serie gelanceerd: de Grand Concert Deluxe. Het is een crossover nylonsnarige gitaar met een geheel nieuwe voorversterker, ontworpen samen met LR Baggs.
Net als zijn seriegenoten is de Grand Concert Deluxe ontworpen om versterkt bespeeld te worden op groter podia zonder risico op feedback. De Multiac Grand Concert Deluxe heeft een mahonie body met twee klankkamers met een massief ceder top. Hij is verder uitgerust met een geschroefde mahonie hals, een Richlite brug en toets en een Graph Tech topkam.
Een zeer prettig bespeelbare gitaar, waar ook menig Flamenco of klassieke gitarist zijn vingers bij aflikt. Het LR Baggs voorversterkersysteem, dat met Hex brugzadeltjes een natuurlijk geluid voortbrengt dat je kunt blenden met de in de body ingebouwde Lyric microfoon. Interessant is ook de simulatie en phase regeling, met de schuifregelaar kun je meer warmte toevoegen.
De gitaar reageert erg goed op ritmisch getik, wat zowel de nieuwe generatie akoestische gitaristen als old school flamencospelers zal aanspreken.Â

Like its series peers, the Grand Concert Deluxe is designed to be amplified on larger stages without the risk of feedback. The Multiac Grand Concert Deluxe has a mahogany body with two chambers with a solid cedar top. It also features a bolt-on mahogany neck, a Richlite bridge and fingerboard, and a Graph Tech nut.
A very pleasant to play guitar, that many Flamenco or classical guitarists will love. The LR Baggs preamp system, which produces a natural sound with Hex bridge saddles that you can blend with the Lyric microphone built into the body. Also interesting is the simulation and phase control, with the slider you can add more warmth.
The guitar responds very well to rhythmic tapping, which will appeal to both the new generation of acoustic guitarists and old school flamenco players.
