Gibson ES335 Cherry Red 1991
Vanaf 1981 werd de ES335 hernoemd naar ES335 Dot, als verwijzing naar de dot inleg van de vroege modellen geproduceerd tussen 1958 en 1962. Begin jaren '90 veranderde de naam ES335 Dot in ES335 Reissue. Hoewel deze ES335 in 1991 is gemaakt, staat er nog wel 'ES-Dot' in het interior label.
Deze ES335 heeft een body van prachtig gecraqueleerd esdoorn die wordt aangevuld met een Cherry Red finish. De dunne C-vormige mahonie hals met 12 inch radius palissander toets biedt het klassieke gevoel en bespeelbaarheid van de 335.
Akoestisch heeft hij die klassieke warmte die een kenmerk is geworden van het ES335 geluid. De dynamische klank vertaalt zich goed door naar de pickups die wat punch en complexiteit toevoegen.
Naast de craquelé heeft hij ook de speelsporen die je mag verwachten voor zijn leeftijd. Hij verkeert absoluut nog in zeer goede conditie en wordt geleverd in een koffer met TFOA paspoort.
