De vurige, in Australië geboren gitariste Orianthi Panagaris laat al meer dan tien jaar mensen versteld staan met haar spel en heeft gespeeld en samengewerkt met onder andere Michael Jackson, Alice Cooper, Carrie Underwood en Richie Sambora. Nu heeft ze een nieuw Gibson signature model, en het is nog een knaller ook.
Met een SJ-200 body met een AAA Sitka sparren bovenblad en gevlamd esdoorn achterblad, gecombineerd met een ES-345 hals, is hij zeker een beetje anders dan een standaard SJ-200. Deze SJ-200 is gebouwd met een Hot Hide Glue constructie en bevat die typische Super Jumbo klank. Een fundamental laag, met duidelijke mids en een prachtig hoog. De elektrische hals maakt de bespeelbaarheid uitzonderlijk goed en zorgt ervoor dat je alles kan spelen op deze SJ.
Andere persoonlijke accenten zijn een ebbenhouten toets met nieuwe lotus halsinleg en een parelmoer Orianthi 'O' symbool op de kop, gouden Grover Keystone stemknoppen, een kenmerkende Cherry nitrocellulose lakafwerking, en een LR Baggs Orianthi Pickup System dat speciaal voor Orianthi werd gemaakt en een instelbare 'saturation' en in het klankgat gemonteerde bedieningsknoppen heeft.
