Guild's iconische M20 was de eerste gitaar van de productielijn in 1967, toen het bedrijf zo gegroeid was dat ze verhuisden naar een nieuwe fabriek in Westerly, RI. Dit Special Run model is voorzien van de 'Cali Burst' finish!
De M20 is een akoestische gitaar van concertformaat, gebouwd met een massief mahonie bovenblad, achterkant en zijkanten, en draagt informeel de bijnaam "de Nick Drake-gitaar" vanwege zijn plek op de albumhoes voor Drake's album, Bryter Layter. Hij beschikt over een palissander brug en toets, benen moer en zadel, en een extreem lichte satijnen afwerking waardoor deze gitaar echt kan zingen.
De stijlvolle details van de M20 omvatten een rozet in vintage-stijl en Guild's peak-logo ingelegd in parelmoer op de kop. Met een LR Baggs Element pickup is de M20 klaar voor het podium of voor studiowerk.
