Deze Taylor 424ce is een tot 500 stuks gelimiteerde uitgave van het Grand Auditorium-model van het merk, en wordt gekenmerkt door een klankkast en bovenblad van Urban Ash. Dit hout wordt gewonnen uit bomen die gekapt moeten worden vanwege hun leeftijd, uit veiligheidsoverwegingen of andere redenen.

De Grand Auditorium-body biedt comfort en een zeer veelzijdige sound, waarbij het Urban Ash zorgt voor een warm geluid met een uitstekende dynamiek. De gitaar is afgewerkt in een natuurlijke glanzende finish, en beschikt daarnaast over een esdoorn hals met een matte finish.

Daarnaast is ook deze Taylor uitgerust met de innovatieve V-Class Bracing die zorgt voor verbeteringen op het gebied van volume, sustain en intonatie. De 224ce is verder voorzien van Taylor's eigen Expression System 2 waardoor de gitaar ook versterkt uitstekend tot zijn recht komt. De gitaar wordt met TFOA paspoort geleverd in een koffer.
