Vaak wordt de toon vergeleken met de helderheid en puurheid van een goede piano. De walnoot/ceder combinatie en George Lowden hebben een lange geschiedenis en ze lijken ontzettend goed bij elkaar te passen. Velen beschouwen dit als de perfecte houtcombinatie voor DADGAD en andere drop-stemmingen.
De respons en de attack zijn direct, diep, donker maar vullen de kamer ook met helderheid en indrukwekkende boventonen. Door het kleinere formaat ten opzichte van het O-model is de F wat directer. Het volume is indrukwekkend en de helderheid en warmte zijn een genot om naar te luisteren.
