Lowry Carrick Model Madagascar Rosewood Swiss Spruce
Drew Lowry, oorspronkelijk afkomstig uit Noord-Ierland, bouwt sinds 2014 professioneel op maat gemaakte gitaren in het noorden van Frankrijk. Hij bouwt in een eigentijdse stijl gericht op eenvoud en elegantie van vorm, waarbij de Ierse gitaarbrouwinvloeden duidelijk aanwezig zijn.
Hij biedt momenteel twee modellen aan, de Braid en Carrick. Zij zijn genoemd naar prominente bezienswaardigheden in zijn geboortestreek Antrim, Noord-Ierland. De Carrick is een middelgroot model en is qua afmetingen ongeveer gelijk aan een OM. Het is in de eerste plaats bedoeld als een fingerstyle-instrument, met een vol geluid, rijk aan overtonen en sustain.
Deze Carrick beschikt over een fijngenerfd Zwitsers sparren bovenblad gepaard met een adembenemend mooie klankkast vervaardigd uit Madagascar palissander. De mahonie hals met ebben toets laat zich soepel bespelen, en maken het geheel tot een fabuleus instrument in zowel uiterlijk als klank.
De gitaar wordt met TFOA paspoort geleverd in een koffer van Hiscox.

The Carrick is a medium-sized model and is approximately the same size as an OM. It is primarily intended as a fingerstyle instrument, with a full sound, rich in overtones and sustain.
This Carrick features a finely grained Swiss spruce top paired with breathtakingly beautiful back and sides crafted from Madagascar rosewood. The mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard can be played smoothly, making the whole into a fabulous instrument in both appearance and sound.
The guitar comes with TFOA passport in a Hiscox case.
