Eastman E6D-TC Thermo Cured Spruce Mahogany 2022

Dit instrument is de dreadnought zoals velen hem willen én hebben, een Sitka sparren bovenblad op een mahonie body. Wat deze gitaar onderscheid is het gebruik van massieve houtsoorten voor de hele gitaar, niet alleen de top en de body, maar ook de brug en de toets zijn van écht ebben.
Maar daar stopt het niet. Deze E6D Thermo Cured heeft een gebakken sparren bovenblad waardoor hij klinkt alsof hij al 60 jaar is ingespeeld. De klank is ronder, warmer, met uitstekende definitie, sustain en resonantie. Om het af te werken heeft de gitaar ook hoogglans nitrocellulose lak, dit zorgt ervoor dat het hout goed kan blijven 'ademen' en er meer klank uitkomt.
Op wat lichte speelsporen op de slagplaat na, is deze E6D-TC haast niet te onderscheiden van een nieuw instrument en verkeert daarom dus in 'near mint' conditie.
