Maybach Custom Shop Nick Page Masterbuilt Convair Vintage Gold Relic
De Custom Shop Convair is Maybachs eerste gitaar die binnenshuis is ontworpen door de beroemde gitaarproducent Nick Page. Deze unieke Maybach heeft een 2-delige mahoniehouten body met een florentine cutaway en heeft een zeer rauw uiterlijk mede veroorzaakt door de forse hals met een comfortabel rond profiel en een gesleufde kop, de aluminium covers, cut out pickup covers en de verouderde Vintagea Gold finish.
Onder die pick-up covers zit een set Amber Spirit van '59 humbucker die dicht in de buurt van de verafgode P.A.F. pickups. De parelmoeren celluloid binding maakt de doorleefde look compleet, maar onder die stoere look is het in feite een extreem resonerende gitaar die kan rocken, maar ook dynamisch is en heerlijke clean produceert.
De gitaar wordt geleverd in een koffer.
