PRS Special Semi-Hollow 22 Custom Colour Cobalt Blue Burst
De PRS Special Semi-Hollow biedt spelers een veelzijdige configuratie met twee PRS 58/15 LT- humbuckers en een PRS Narrowfield element in het midden. De 58/15 LT's hebben een 'vintage' warme en heldere sound, terwijl de Narrowfield pickup in de middelste positie de bite, punch en helderheid van een single coil heeft, maar dan zonder de typische vervelende hum.
In combinatie met de 5-way blade schakelaar en twee mini-switches waarmee je de coil taps bedient kan deze gitaar een grote variatie aan klanken en stijlen aan. De semi-hollow body met een F-gat zorgt op zijn beurt weer voor een rijk en diep karakter.
De basis van deze gitaar lijkt veel op de Custom 22; esdoorn top, mahonie body, 22 frets mahonie hals met 635mm mensuur, ebben toets, Phase III stemmechanieken en PRS Gen III gepatenteerde tremolo; maar de veelzijdige elektronica tilt dit instrument echt naar een hoger niveau. De gitaar wordt geleverd inclusief koffer.
