Gebouwd ter nagedachtenis aan Antonio de Torres, de grootste gitaarbouwer die ooit heeft geleefd. Het originele model SE43 uit 1883 werd zorgvuldig onderzocht en gerepliceerd met enkele moderne accenten zoals de symmetrische 12-gaats brug. De originele gitaar had al een mensuur van 25.6 inch en was daarmee voor die tijd een zeer moderne gitaar.
De body bestaat uit een achter- en zijkant van een prachtig stuk granadillo met een 'Swiss Moon' sparren bovenblad voor een vol, rond en helder geluid. Dit is het model dat vele beroemde gitaarbouwers zoals Manuel Ramirez heeft beïnvloed. De Torres A43 komt het dichtst bij het origineel.
