Het merk Waterloo werd door Bill Collings opgericht als eerbetoon aan de gitaren uit de jaren '20 en '30. De gitaren worden met de hand gebouwd in Austin, Texas, en zijn licht responsief en beschikken over een ongeëvenaard karakter.
Waterloo WL S Iced Tea Sunburst
De nieuwe WL S biedt een uitzonderlijke helderheid, diepte en punch. Geïnspireerd door de 12-fret Stella gitaren uit de jaren dertig heeft dit model een 24 7/8" scale length die zorgt voor een ronde aanslag en een indrukwekkende string-to-string separation. De semi-gloss nitrocellulose finish benadrukt niet alleen de prachtige iced tea sunburst maar versterkt ook de levendige akoestische respons van dit ladder braced ontwerp. Met massief cherry hout voor de back en sides krijgt de WL S een uniek karakter met veel balans en articulatie.
Dit model is uitgerust met een vintage correct “Soft-V” neck profile, een verstelbare truss rod, een slotted headstock en een pyramid bridge met cutthrough saddle. Een hardshell TKL case is inbegrepen.
Zoals alle Waterloo modellen is de WL S volledig met de hand gebouwd in Austin, Texas.
