The Goodtime Six-R banjo comes hot on the heels of the very popular Goodtime Six open back banjo, but with the addition of a radiused midnight maple finger board, and a maple resonator, for a significantly fuller, clearer and more vibrant tone.

De Goodtime Six-R banjo is gebaseerd op de zeer populaire Goodtime Six openback banjo, maar met een paar extra kenmerken die de Goodtime Six-R klaar maken voor het grote podium, zowel qua uiterlijk als qua bouw.
Het meest opvallend is dat de Goodtime Six-R een 'midnight' esdoorn toets met 15" radius heeft, die de speler een opvallend contrast biedt met de lichte kleur van de esdoornhals.
Tonaal wordt de Goodtime Six-R naar een hoger niveau getild door de toevoeging van een resonator achter zijn 11" 3-laags violin grade esdoorn rim. Zoals bij elke banjo, creëert de toevoeging van een resonator niet alleen een holle geluidskamer, maar biedt het ook een vlak oppervlak waarop het geluid kan weerkaatsen en naar voren kan projecteren in de richting van het publiek, in plaats van te worden geabsorbeerd door het lichaam. Het resultaat is een aanzienlijk vollere, helderdere en levendigere toon.

Most notably, the Goodtime Six-R features a radiused midnight maple fingerboard, offering the player a striking contrast to the normal blonde of the hard rock maple neck.
Tonally, the Goodtime Six-R is elevated by the addition of a maple resonator behind it's 11” 3-ply violin grade maple rim. Like any banjo, the addition of a resonator not only creates a hollow sound chamber, but also provides a flat surface for the sound to bounce off and project forward towards the players audience, instead of being absorbed by their body. The result is a significantly fuller, clearer and more vibrant tone.
The Goodtime Six banjos were not designed to replace the guitar, but rather complement it. It affords guitarists the chance to play what they already know with unimaginably creative results.
Das Goodtime Six-R Banjo ist eine Weiterentwicklung des sehr beliebten Goodtime Six Openback Banjos, jedoch mit einigen zusätzlichen Features, die das Goodtime Six-R sowohl optisch als auch von der Bauweise her für die große Bühne bereit machen.
Das Goodtime Six-R hat ein gerundetes Griffbrett aus Mitternachtsahorn, das dem Spieler einen auffälligen Kontrast zum normalen Blond des Hard Rock Ahornhalses bietet.
Klanglich wird das Goodtime Six-R durch den zusätzlichen Ahorn-Resonator hinter dem 11" 3-ply Violin Grade Ahornrand aufgewertet. Wie bei jedem Banjo schafft der zusätzliche Resonator nicht nur eine hohle Klangkammer, sondern bietet auch eine flache Oberfläche, an der der Klang abprallt und nach vorne in Richtung Publikum projiziert wird, anstatt vom Körper des Spielers absorbiert zu werden. Das Ergebnis ist ein wesentlich vollerer, klarerer und lebendigerer Ton.
Die Goodtime Six Banjos wurden nicht entwickelt, um die Gitarre zu ersetzen, sondern um sie zu ergänzen. Es bietet Gitarristen die Möglichkeit, das zu spielen, was sie bereits kennen, mit unvorstellbar kreativen Ergebnissen.
