The aged version of the D28 Authentic 1937 embodies all the beauty associated with Martin's authentic instruments, such as construction with animal glue and hand-scalloped X-bracing.
On top of that, there's the Vintage Tone System (VTS) that ages the wood to replicate the sound of a vintage Martin. The Martin Vintage Tone System utilizes a unique recipe based on the historical torrefaction system. This VTS system behaves very much like a time machine, allowing Martin to expedite the "aging" of tonewoods.
Thanks to VTS, Martin can not only replicate the pleasant visual aesthetics of a vintage guitar but also reproduce the special vintage sound typically reserved for "real" vintage instruments.
This 2014 Martin D28 has incurred very light playing marks, particularly on its front and back. Additionally, this Martin Authentic has undergone a very nicely done repair to the binding beside its top. Nevertheless, it still looks extremely clean and is therefore in excellent condition. Comes with a case and TFOA passport.
