This The Goose from 2020 is a stunning example of his work, featuring a slope shoulder jumbo bodymade of mahogany combined with a torrefied spruce top. The result is a guitar with character and a rich, warm tone that immediately impresses!

Over the past years, Alexander Voss has become a respected luthier, crafting instruments with meticulous attention to detail and tonal quality. The Goose is his interpretation of the classic slope shoulder jumbo, a body shape rooted in the iconic models of the 1930s and ’40s. Voss combines traditional building methods with modern insights, using carefully selected tonewoods and scalloped X-bracing for optimal resonance. The torrefied spruce top undergoes a special heating process that crystallizes the resins in the wood, giving the instrument the open, mature sound of a guitar that has been played for years.

The guitar delivers a full, balanced sound with powerful lows and clear highs. The mahogany body provides warmth and focus, while the torrefied spruce top adds depth and complexity to the tone.

This 2020 Voss is in excellent condition and shows only minimal signs of playing on the body. It comes with a luxurious white Hiscox case and TFOA passport.
